This morning Sue and I headed over to meet with Harley Stewart, Vice Principal of Marion Carson school. Harley has shown great enthusiasm and support for this project. This was my third visit to the school. The first was on Feb 10th when I ran a marathon. It was my 30th and the last before an injury put me out of action for 2 1/2 weeks. The next visit was on March 12th when I was presented with a check for $1,182.70 for Right To Play. The students had fund-raised for two months, collecting loose change for the cause.

Today, Harley presented me with a cheque for $5,000 from the Marion Carson Parents Association, incredible. He also told me that because Marathon Quest 250 is a one year endevour then the school intends to raise funds all though 2010, for Right To Play.

I can only say how appreciative I am of these efforts.
